You Are Unique
By
Reno Litterio

Do you see yourself as others see you? Are you really yourself, or are you pretending to be someone else? The image that you carry around day-by-day, in your relationship and interaction, with family, friends, at work and even secret admires, is it really your inner self?

You are one of a kind, from the moment you came into the light of day. You are unique in every sense of the word, physically, mentally and visually.

Our genome separates us from all others. Webster’s dictionary defines the word “genome” n. gen, GENE & chromos om, CHROMOSOME one complete haploid set of an organism. And ORGANISM n. is anything resembling a living thing in its complexity of structure or functions.

Some people who are so obsessed with famous personalities, sometimes go to any extreme to act and copy their mannerism. They will spend excessively to copy their dress, patronize the same restaurants, and be seen in the same social gathering. Some will go into deep debt and not know how to stop or extract themselves out of this obsessive disorder.

To live life under a false pretense, is never to be able to discover your own talents and potentials. Above all, one must always be true to oneself.

Another favorite quote of mine:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take,
but by the moments that take our breath away.
