26th Senior Celebration a huge success

Randolph, MA – The 26th Annual Senior Celebration, a free health and lifestyle expo, was attended by hundreds of South Shore residents yesterday. Held at Lombardo’s in Randolph, scores of seniors and caregivers took advantage of the services and products that were represented by expo exhibitors and spent hours in conversation ¬†with them. More than 60 vendor tables filled the ballrooms as a steady stream of attendees passed through to learn about important services from experts including audiologists, health care professionals, social workers, skilled facility administrators, hospital case workers, alternative therapy professionals, nutritionists, medical equipment representatives, in-home caregivers, and many others. Attendees also took advantage of free health screenings provided by Signature Healthcare, the expo’s Marquee Sponsor, including vascular and cholesterol screenings.

Participants spent hours learning about services and products from experts and professionals.

Six educational seminars on healthcare, nutrition, and retirement planning were also presented by leading experts.

The day’s entertainment was highlighted with a performance by PBS star and international stress expert, Loretta LaRoche, and her jazz band, the We’re Not Dead Yet Quartet. She was joined on stage by Boston radio legend Ron Della Chiesa, for a number, singing an American Songbook standard, The Lady is a Tram
Other entertainment was provided by oldies DJ, Joe Martini, and a lively Zumba demonstration by Lori Hunter and Zumba Fitness Gold energized the room. Free raffles and give-aways added to the excitement of the day.
