Last night’s My Generation radio show, broadcast live on 95.9 WATD-FM, featured guests from AARP Massachusetts, Cindy Campbell (above left), Marketing Director, and Kara Cohen, Manager, Community Outreach and Volunteer Engagement.
Cindy started off the show discussing a list of new seasonal scams that are now praying on the most vulnerable of us. These new scams include online sales that seem too good to be true, fake tech gurus claiming your computer has a virus, charity imposters, and IRS scammers. To learn more about scams — how to spot them, and how to stop them — please visit the AARP’s Fraud Watch site for much more information.
Cara joined the show to update listeners on the Age Friendly Community initiatives now being put in place by towns throughout the Commonwealth, including the newest town to begin this process, Scituate.
